Am I eligible for the PM Surya Ghar subsidy?+
Any household with its own electricity connection and a suitable roof can apply. The subsidy is for residential rooftop systems; we check eligibility during the free survey.
How much roof space do I need?+
Roughly 100 sq ft of shadow-free area per kW. A typical 3 kW home system needs about 300 sq ft.
Does solar work during the monsoon?+
Yes, at reduced output on cloudy days. Net metering banks your extra units from sunny months, so your yearly savings stay strong.
Will I have power during a power cut?+
Standard on-grid systems shut down during outages for safety. Choose a hybrid system with batteries if you need backup.
How long does installation take?+
Installation itself takes 1–3 days. Net-meter commissioning by the DISCOM usually follows within a few weeks.
What maintenance is needed?+
Occasional panel cleaning and a yearly check. Our AMC plans cover both, so you don't have to think about it.
